Event description
|
This session starts with explaining, the most important challenges regarding identity management, authentication and authorization encountered in application development. Next we take a look at how the new Windows Identity Framework can help to deal with these problems. Using simple examples the roadmap to evolve from applications with ‘hardcoded’ authentication and authorization logic, to applications that support federation and external identity providers will be demonstrated. The target audience for this session are programmers who need to write applications that behave correctly from the security point of view, without being security experts.
